I always thought is was spelt Rhum and I have just found out that is should be spelt Rùm, and it was some guy called George Bullough who changed it to Rhum to avoid the association with Rum. It was the proto NatureScot who changed it back to Rum in 1991. How about that!

We put people in court and then in jail for killing people after an investigation like the one just published. But we never do this for politicians. Why is that?
