Just got a Missouri Amber Alert on my phone which included a link. So I click on it & does it take me to an official law enforcement website? Nope, it was a link to said law enforcement's post on X that I quickly closed. What I want is info, not info posted on a site that caters to trolls & racists.

If only the refs hadn't gotten CJ sacked 8 times or caused that blocked kick or the missed field goal.

I'm relatively new to the whole Panda Express thing. In college there was one in the student union & it never seemed appealing to me so I never bothered with them. Decades later & I'm finally adding it to my list of go to places if I don't feel like cooking. I do wish their Crab Rangoon was better.

After the first one I was out. There was just too much filler or allusions to the LOTR movies. This year I found the fan edited version that stripped all the unnecessary filler out & tried to keep close to the original story & it actually works.

My wife made me watch this one time. I already loathe Andrew Lloyd Weber musicals. This adaptation just solidified my loathing.

I remember watching it in the theater & constantly thinking, "What is this movie?" I was so confused cause I felt like the set pieces & styling were so unique I should be really into this but at the same time the movie just seemed to plod along. Still liked the L.L. Cool J camouflage gags though.

Pretty good if you like chicken and chunks of mushroom. It's as inoffensive of a dish there is because it's not too heavily seasoned. I feel like the flavors aren't as strong compared to my local Chinese buffet but it's still good enough for one of my go to's.

It was always awesome to see him pop up in a Star Trek episode. It didn't matter if he was playing a completely different alien or human character, or even if it wasn't the strongest of episodes, he had a way of adding a level of gravitas to his role. RIP Mr. Todd.

Welcome back! I had to delete the bird app from my phone about three weeks ago. My mental health was much better afterwards. And post election it's been nice to come here and see people lifting each other up instead of trolls and bots tearing us down.

The first time I visited TX when I was a kid I was introduced to Bill Miller BBQ as an example of TX BBQ. I have yet to ever want TX BBQ again.

I get why some people think Jack Stack is overrated but I do love the burnt ends and the Poor Russ sandwich. Also, they have the best honey mustard.

Deleted the former bird app from my phone. I'm not deleting my account just yet cause I want to keep the name. Hoping Bluesky is a place where we can have some semblance of decency and optimism for the next four years.

Starting to see an uptick in folks I followed on the bird app. Glad to see them on here.
