His eyes were focused on the T.V but was not really paying attention to it at all. He was more focused on her. He is always takes precautions not to the extent that Batman does but he makes sure he is protected but he smiled and decided to joke.

"I do have super hearing."

Clark would smile when Jennifer would answer his call. He was now leaning back on his couch in his apartment while he had the t.v on but on mute. "It is Clark Kent better known as Superman. How are you? I'm free for drinks."

Taking the card from her, he would have to hold it tight since he has no pockets on his Superman costume. "Thank you. I will."

He nodded, "Also Look for a Clark Kent if you want the truth revealed by the Daily Planet."

He gave her a Superman classic like smile. " Drinks it is. I'll be happy to."

He would laugh a bit a knowing she was joking then he would smile. "Funny. But I don't think you would like to see out of control heat vision."

"You are lucky you did not see my teenage years when my powers were developing. That was gruelling and a struggle." He would smile. "I can literally destroy the world but like you, chose the right path. I do have my detractors too. Even some friends who keep me in line."

He sighed in returned and would listen to what she had to say. She was right about him but that did not matter, he was more of wanting to know her.

"You are right. But there are some who fear of what I can do but I do not let it bother me. I surround myself with good people and friends."

He smiled a little bit once again.

"I just know what is like. I may not be green but there are people intimated by be me. knowing what I can do."
