A lot of people came together late 50's early 60's that where part of the Mersey sound, my dad was in the mix as a clubland comedian, sadly lost him a couple of years ago, he played the uke so shot this "5th" Beatle image for him at the Pier Head, also 60's some publicity photos of him

I shot a series of photos during the 80's of the dredging of the Albert Dock complex, don't have access to the negatives now from where I worked back then, only have these to examples, one of the dredger in Canning Dock & a grabber bucket in the dock @yoliverpool.bsky.social @daveyph.bsky.social

A 1959 program from my dad's (Ken Rose) archives during his times as a comedian. The Royal Iris for The Jim Gretty Show, on the bill is Gerry Marsden, just before he formed his group The Pacemakers, Al Caldwell & The Texans was Rory Storm and their drummer was Ringo @mikehaskins.bsky.social

During a nice sunny afternoon stroll through New Brighton today, I photographed this great mural artwork on the side of Master Mariner Bar by artist Adam Brez of Captain Mike Lowe, the youngest Master on the Birkenhead Ferries when he was 28 in 1962 @yoliverpool.bsky.social @daveyph.bsky.social

no problem although wouldn't class an expert about the Mersey Ferries just knowledge of what I have photographed over the years
