$5,800 donation to the Sask United Party by "Anonymous, Anonymous" (which is very much illegal in our province).

$465,000 loan aka donation by the Sask United Party leader's corporation (which is legal).

We need reform of our ridiculously weak political donation laws.

I wrote a letter recently.
Here is the completely inadequate response from our Justice Minister. I guess I am wrong, we have a robust and transparent political donation process.
Silly me.
Pathetic.

Anonymous donation to the Sask Party last year.
$25k from a numbered Alberta Corporation.
No problem?
Not under our outdated wild west political donation laws.

There are precious few resources available for HC. Spending tens of millions on buildings BEFORE ever even caring for a single patient is unwise.
The buildings will draw HCWs from already depleted areas. It's an $$$ spreading of an already thin HC workforce.

Saskatchewan’s front-line physicians press ministers for action, answers | Globalnews.ca Saskatchewan doctors pressed provincial health ministers for answers on staffing, outdated tech, and called for more say in how care is delivered across the province.

I was in the room and glad to see my colleagues asking tough questions about the new Urgent Care Clinics being planned around the province.

The health minister did not adequately answer the questions asked of him.

It seems quite unlikely that you will get such a campaign given the current happenings at the federal level. 😒

We are going to have to be very diligent to make sure SP Moe’s buddy, UCP Smith, doesn’t influence Saskatchewan policy on availability of COVID-19 vaccine here.

I am sure it is a coincidence that a majority of the review's authors/contributors are of one mind on the pandemic response. /s

We should take their recommendations with a healthy dose of skepticism. It is unfortunate that media headlines don't reflect the bias of this panel.

Some of the names are instantly recognizable. Jay Bhattacharya is Trump's pick to lead NIH. He authored "the Great Barrington Declaration" which in 2020 proposed vulnerable people shelter in place while the rest of us catch COVID (in the pre-omicron era!).

Sask. town to lose 2 doctors by end of January | CBC News Kipling, Sask.,Β is set to lose two of three doctors at its health centre and area by the end of January.

The SIPPA program is important in that it provides a stream of physicians entering our province who otherwise wouldn’t.

I’m very curious about the medium to long term retention rates though as it seems they so rarely stay in our province.

This.

This is what brought in changes to family med that swept the nation.

Up until now all rallies that I’m aware of in SK have been organized by unions and have been shrugged off.

I believe we need a critical mass of public pressure to achieve change.

Sick doctors mean hospital emergency department will close early Dec. 31 City Hospital's emergency department will close early on New Year's Eve.

Warning shot fired.
This story is about more than one sick doctor who can't make their shift tonight in our province's largest city.

Our ERs are in crisis. Staffing in our ERs is getting more challenging. Even in our big cities.

We need to fix this.
