There’s no massive strategic agenda - or hidden agenda. It’s a jeu d’esprit. A way of shining a bit of light on a small town in a counter-intuitive way. That’s it! :-)

They’re doing other stuff there: meeting with tech companies, long-planned. It’s not for us!

What happens next: who knows? But Tasmanian government has shown an interest and they have a delegation going to Calif. next week. So we’ll see!

I have loads of old maps of the town and it occurred to me that the town is now a bit like the opening screen in SimCity - all the potential. So we thought we might have a go at twinning with them. First twinning between a real world town and a games-based town/city as far as I know…..
