A month-by-month retrospective of my 2025 art. Sorry, I can't describe it all, we'd be here all day. I tried a bunch of different things this year and forgot how to do plenty of things I knew how to before, but I'd call it a successful year. (I hope I remembered which art was done in which month...) Thank you again to everyone who stopped by, commented, reposted, and was just generally all-around awesome. I hope 2026 brings good things to everyone despite all the things threatening not to. My goal was to finish an illustration a month & I nearly did, except I got miserably sick in Sep. 🫠 Oh well, almost!

Originally this was supposed to be Gabriela and Maja from the book club but I couldn't quite get her to look like Maja so idk now.

Anyway, obligatory background thingies (1st one is a slightly changed old stalled project from years ago, the rest are new for this and vary in quality/detail. 😭)

Thanks! I varied between going "yay red!" to "ooh nooo red it hurts my eyes" while working on it.

I will say it burns if you have light-mode on in any app...

Oh my I absolutely love the style with the little lines for shading. (And well, everything else along with that. 😭)
