Marriages between LGBTQIA+ people are holy and blessed unions, rooted in mutual respect and love for one another. Furthermore, LGBTQIA+ families are knit together with love and intentionality. To insinuate otherwise is false. (3/6)

As LGBTQIA+ people across the globe prepare to take to the streets in joyous celebration of who they are and who they love, it is disheartening but not surprising, to hear the Pope diminish the sanctity and stability of queer families. (2/6)

Today Pope Leo XIV reaffirmed his position on LGBTQIA+ marriages, stating family is founded on the “stable union between a man and a woman.”

Amendment 24A receives needed votes to be added to the Book of Order.

The lives, gifts, and leadership of LGBTQIA+ people are necessary for the church to thrive. We are thankful for the the commissioners of the #GA226 passing this and did presbyteries across the @pcusa.bsky.social for ratifying!
