Amendment 24-A wins approval from a majority of presbyteries
The amendment, approved by the General Assembly last year, adds ‘sexual orientation’ and ‘gender identity’ to categories protected from discrimination.

Amendment 24A receives needed votes to be added to the Book of Order.
The lives, gifts, and leadership of LGBTQIA+ people are necessary for the church to thrive. We are thankful for the the commissioners of the #GA226 passing this and did presbyteries across the @pcusa.bsky.social for ratifying!
