Just because technology lets you fix a sloppy handover at the last minute before publication, it doesn't mean that a sloppy handover is acceptable.

Why is the last resort so often the first port of call?

I’m so glad that I’ve actually overcome my natural horror at human interaction and spoken with some of the folk I admire so much.

… and now I find myself watching it with the infotext on with a general air of “blimey, how did they even get that out of the door given the time/money/etc.”.

Whatever else the show is, it’s a testament to the ingenuity, innovation and sheer hard work of those who made it.
