The roof on mine killed me as well. That's the problem with that early 1900's/late 1800's charm. Well, here's to a lifetime of projects for us, haha.

Yeah, I imagine a lot of the things that make your art appealing to folks would get lost if you had to simplify simplify. 😭 Lots of delicate line work and hatching, lot of care for textures

I feel that. I work at a very similar pace and have a full-time day job. 💔 I've been trying to improve my speed or figure out a style that isn't so demanding on my time, but it's tough to compromise.

Yeah, tragically I have no idea what the follow-up is because I don't have a Tumblr. 🫠 But I've seen this post of yours reposted and blowing up no less than four different times.

But, being honest, when it comes to drawing... whatever motivating inspiration I had at work has usually cooled by then. Because part of what made it so hot was the inability to indulge in it, and the "I'm clawing at walls to leave work" feeling!

Honestly I just don't stop moving. 💀 Like "I have to be faster than my exhaustion".

So I often get home > change > cook > eat > clean > immediately curl up with my tablet and start noodling around.

The full piece has so much impact. 💜 Beautiful.
