The drawing subject was the beautiful Hawaiian Honey Creeper, known locally as the I'iwi (pronounced ee-ee-WEE).

So, if the state weren't gerrymandered, they would control 47% of the seats, or about 8 out of 17 -- still not enough to veto the governor's veto or control your state congress.

In a state like mine, Republican gerrymandering means a party with 52% of the population has 3 out of 14 hours seats. 😠

On July 25th, DJT signed an order "to move more people who are homeless into long-term institutions and hospitals, including involuntarily."

And as we often say here, "As goes California, so goes the rest of the nation."

Ah. So you are apparently unaware of the Protestant Reformation in Europe that began in 1517 and ushered in over 100 years of bloodshed. The Pilgrims came beginning in 1620, Puritans (1630-40), followed by Quakers and French Huguenots. Just FYI, the Founding Fathers were around in the mid- 1700s.

Sickening. Well, it sickens me, anyway.

My pickleball gals are taking me to a vegan restaurant this afternoon for my b-day. Vegan cakes, y'all, are SO much better than The Other Kind.

Especially vegan chocolate! Oh my.

I worry about my friends who "just can't listen to it anymore."

It honestly doesn't matter at all who he voted for. It's what he believes NOW.

He "gets it" and he is exactly the kind of person we need to carry on the fight: young, articulate, passionate.

I hope he runs for office as a Democrat. He has my vote.
