I'm shocked that Republicans would rather shut down Congress than stand up to a dead pedophile.
So why not release the files?

Pittsburghers, do better.

I mostly agree with this, but in the US we abandoned common sense cooling features like awnings when AC became popular because "they make you look poor." I am pro AC but also pro naturally cool design so we need less AC

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make whatβs happening now look like childβs play. And people are disappearing.
Orange graphic with images of Dave McCormick, and PAβs GOP Congressional delegation with text that reads βOne big bullshit bill- hurt 400,000 Pennsylvaniansβ access to SNAP, shut down senior care centers across PA, cut 1 in 4 Pennsylvanians from medicaid, shutter access to care for kids and pregnant women, cost PA 49,000 jobs.β
Dave McCormick just cast the deciding vote for this BS bill that raises costs of health care, food and utilities, and leaves Pennsylvanians to die.
The bill now goes to the House where PAβs GOP delegation will decide its fate. Call and let them know how you feel at 202-224-3121.
People like when you unapologetically stand for something, specifically the working class.
This shouldn't be seen as some super lefty position, and we shouldn't need a poll to tell us it either.
Brocasts arenβt republican. They are for young guys. If you want to connect you have to speak to them.
If you want to lose by 248k votes in 7 swing states, ignore them

Half of business owners on this Toronto street estimated that more than 25% of their customers arrived by car.
In fact, it was 4%.
And the % of customers who who walked or cycled? 72%.

Keep this in mind when people claim cars mean business β closing Central #Madrid to cars over holidays resulted in a 9.5% boost in retail spending on its main shopping street: STUDY.
There was also a 71% drop in air pollution.

Hereβs the thing, American friends.
We know itβs Trump, Musk & Project 2025 that are attacking Canada economically right now, not the United States as a whole.
We get that.

In walkable neighbourhoods, this is just normal. You donβt think about it.
βDense walkable environments are far outperforming low density suburban sprawlβ¦ Municipalities perform far better when they invest in mixed use, walkable development patterns rather than low density development patterns.β
