21.05.2025 21:54 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0It's time for an update. I know I need to amp it up to match the graphic. My mascot is a bee and I need to bring the buzz. Give me a break because I'm burning my brain building this thing, and most of my life has been spent remaining calm in chaos.

Ok, May 7th, but who's counting.
I'll have a live update tomorrow:

Iโm still at it! I took a few days to rest, but Iโm feeling much better now and back to Cambigo development. May 5th. Anyone interested in trying it out when I make it available?https://youtu.be/YNGDegBE6aw
30.04.2025 17:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is what I've been up to this week. Next week something sharable maybe? We'll see.
25.04.2025 15:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Just getting the word out that I'm doing this project. I'd appreciate follows! Subscribe on YouTube too. As of this week I'm a retired federal scientist from HHS, and past innovator at VA and the NWS. I'm trying to get a company going building the informaticist toolkit I wish I had!

21.04.2025 15:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Do something at a different location at the same time. Invite sidelined federal employees. Show people the volume of people in our government that have been cast aside, show how it has been broken, tell us the consequences and what we do next. LEAD US NOW!!

"โฆAI systems amplify biases, which are further internalized by humans, triggering a snowball effect where small errors in judgement escalate into much larger ones."

Would be interested too. Will be getting started soon.

09.12.2024 03:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Added! I check most accounts out of curiosity. I follow generously but use this as my primary feed for informatics. Interested to see your LLM book release!
09.12.2024 03:38 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Hi! Any chance you could add a description to your profile? Iโve been skipping over those without one. It might help others too.
06.12.2024 16:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I'm not sure of the rate limits, although I have encountered failures responding to longer, more complex questions. I also run ollama locally and use privy in VS Code to connect for a fairly similar GitHub Copilot chat interface and code completion. I'm still looking for a favorite model there.
29.11.2024 14:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've been using the Claude Sonnet model in Copilot, and it has been phenomenally useful for coding tasks in Python. Far better experience over GPT.
29.11.2024 03:21 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Aside: The irony is that as I compose these posts, GenAI is actively suggesting text to me, and the words fit, but they are completely expressionless.
28.11.2024 23:48 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Not that a random post is going to change the world, but I've been thinking a lot about the future and how it might be heavily influenced by text prediction and not human dreams and visions.
28.11.2024 23:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Value human intelligence over artificial intelligence. From the tools to the content, we wouldn't have any of it without the humans backing it. Human thought is the fuel that keeps GenAI relevant.
28.11.2024 23:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The work we do in health informatics impacts real people - patients and clinicians. Sometimes it is easy to get caught up with being innovators, while we still need the fundamentals to take care of people. 4/4

24.11.2024 18:20 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Hello! My recommendation would be to make a starter kit for German speaking informatics accounts. I wouldn't be able to manage accounts that broadly, but I'd be more than happy to follow and share! It would help you gain German speaking followers that could engage with your content.
24.11.2024 15:41 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Tomorrow there will be one more Twitter archive story, and then I move on with my new account here at Bluesky!

23.11.2024 23:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If you work in this field, make sure that the processes and technology that you introduce, and actions that you take, will make things better for patients and clinicians. Nothing else matters. It is certainly not being cool, or being first. #UnicornJess
