Yeah I know, I use it myself. I meant a tool that works on the same principle but for labels.

But yeah it's a pain to not have that feature.

Oh yeah, being notified that's definitely on Bluesky.

In the meantime maybe someone can make a tool like @listifications.app to notify you when your posts or account gets labeled. This doesn't erase Bluesky's responsibility but it might help.

We are Bluesky, we are the community, we build our own moderation tools. And what happened there when we called out aimod and asked for explanations / gave feedback is part of "doing better".

Expecting Bluesky to validate every labeler kinda defeats the purpose imo

On X the danger comes from the algorithm and whoever unilaterally decides the rules for everyone no exceptions. You can't do much against that.

Hopefully the aimod team are taking the feedback seriously (and if not we can all unsubscribe)

At least with Bluesky and the community's vigilance we can see when a labeler fucks up and react accordingly. And on Mastodon you can always migrate if you don't like your instance's moderation.

On X and the like we would be powerless.

Well whether it's Bluesky, X, Mastodon or whatever you will always potentially get hammered by more or less arbitrarily enforced rules, be it by a centralized algorithm and mod team (X/Threads/Instagram) or a decentralized community (Bluesky/Mastodon). Social media will always be flawed I'm afraid.

I think the burden of proof should ideally be on the accuser rather than the defendant. That's why I suggested asking the reporter to explain what makes them think it's AI (and a textbox left blank would be a sign of the report being disingenuous). Asking the artist for proof should be a last resort
