Their relationship doesn't really change, but it's more teasing rather than actual annoyance now. They actually laugh together and get along. John Dory is surprised when he hears it, but is just glad that his boyfriend is finally actually getting along with his brother.

He makes accommodations to the office for Will and surprises him with it. Will thinks it's a joke, wondering if Clay is just stressed by the workload but Clay ends up giving him an aggressive pep talk and finally convinced Will to come back.

Mister David/Will's story with Clay is actually really sweet. They HATE each other but are forced to work with each other for a little while until Will gets a work injury and kinda loses his mojo. Clay is left to work on his own and regretfully realises that he misses Will.

I am going to blend Clay into a million pieces and feed him to rats
