explanation time!
I havent been able to invert scanned film photos or upload old photos recently since my motherboard died and Asus has been taking ages to get me a replacement.
In the meantime I’m gonna try and find a pc on my uni campus with Lightroom and use that.

though my grain complaint might be just me being way too used to medium format with low iso

it's mostly the grain that throws me off, but the lab scan does look really weird, i think the yellow backing of the film kinda threw off the scanner. i might try scanning it at home once i get a better dslr scanning setup
