Yes, read Trumps book. I know, he's a vile and disgusting example of humanity, but the worst thing you can do is deprive yourself of understanding because the source is vile. Know thy self, know thy enemy. Read Obama's book to cleanse your palate afterwards.

Read books that challenge your world view. Read the books they tell you not to read because they contain inappropriate themes, and try to figure out why they don't want you to read To Kill A Mockingbird. Read Kaczynski and Dostoevsky. Read about communism from communist authors.

Do yourself a favor: read the banned books. Buy a copy of challenged books. Not an e-book, not an audiobook. Not out of any ableist motive, but because as an Elder Millenial, I learned the hard way, you do not own any electronic media, and nothing cannot be changed.
