I'm not religious at all, but with all the imagery today... yeah, this was the only way I could have written this in terms of style lol.

A text written in a handwriting-style font that reads: Once, there was a god, and unto others he gave the gift of his flesh. At his feet, they knelt and wept, overcome by elation as they ate and ate until they could no longer. For vast was his story, and through his flesh was it distributed to the supplicants. He was woven from tales themselves, a being beyond comprehension. And yet, for his most devout believer, he gave nothing. The man who, a lifetime ago, he had chosen as his own. Separated from his god by a vast veil that blanketed the skies, the believer prayed and devoted himself to one day return to the side of the one to whom he had been pledged. Thus, the god carved out a piece of himself. A being with an innocent mind, untainted by the horrors of the world, and yet was still the god himself. Upon the scorched earth, the being was placed to become the vessel of god. To the side of the believer this vessel went, and to him the vessel was entrusted. Perhaps this too was the god's final kindness for his believer, for the consumption of his flesh brought not absolution. The stories became chains, the devotion became shackles, and all who had tasted that divine sacrament were dragged deeper into sin. The morality of the people matters not to god, for he is the one who decides what is good. His will would be done, and the stage would be prepared for the day his vessel returns to play his final role in the divine tragedy.

So after reading today's side story chapter, I felt absolutely compelled to write this. I wrote like I was possessed, ngl. Seolja... wtf are you doing...

We're doing a powerpoint party at my best friend's bachelorette and this is what I'll be presenting, so the vibes are definitely similar LOL

this is a thing now, don't expect it to be done until mid-august

I already have 7 worldlines (including alt-worldlines) to take into account send help

So it looks like I'm going to be making a powerpoint to break down orv's timelines and how they interact with/cause each other, maybe I should post some of that here once I'm done

The setting is a train platform. A waning crescent moon shines through the overhead lines of the train’s catenary system. A screen telling the time shows: 지금 시각 23:09. The sounds of a train approaching fill the air as YJH and KDJ wait by the platform screen doors, breaths visible in the cold night air.

The station jingle twitters signaling the train’s imminent arrival. KDJ lifts his smartphone into view. Its screen flickers to show that it has run out of battery completely. Silently, he returns it to his coat pocket. The train appears blurry through the platform screen doors as it brakes to a stop.

So either something weird is going on with hsy that hasn't been revealed yet, or she hasn't appeared in so long that sns have forgotten how to write her bc she does not feel like herself in this chapter at all. The only part of her that feels right is that she created another cult ngl.

I actually liked 1863 hsy better than orv hsy in the main story but this arc may just lose her that spot 😭

Plus, lsh is *right there*! They've had two scenes together in the ss so far, and that's already given us more chemistry than what hsy has with lhh 😭😭

She can tell the avatars apart based on what memories they have... lsh you are wonderful and amazing.

My god, hsy, please give up on these stupid men. You've been abandoned by 3 of them already (1863 yjh, kdj, and sp), and there's no way lhh can realistically stick around if we want the plot to go anywhere. You don't need a man to finish the scenarios with you 😭.
