Why is it that it's always after dark when my brain thinks the bookcase needs to be rearranged and decorated? Anyhow, nearly done; the rest has to wait until tomorrow.

I'm so with you. I just want my stuff tagged too, but I also want to see naked people on my feed and right now you can't have both on Tumblr.

So... I lost the nearly publish-ready version of Cassius German Edition. That's three weeks of work I need to redo in the next 7 days to make the preorder deadline. The coming week will be hell for me because I also have a day job.

So like, write the same story in a different language? With maybe edits to fit English better? Like Thomas Olde Heuvelt did with his novel HEX?

I know people are mad about he censorship thing, but the thing is it can't be done. Tumblr baned porn 2017 and there is still plenty of it on tumblr. there is art, there is photography, there are gifs, there is kink, yaoi and hentai. the difference is it's not tagged anymore.

Could he translate himself? I translate my own books and yeah, it takes me months, but at least it's all in my own voice. And then I find an editor and get it polished for typos and stuff. Maybe something to consider?

It's Friday! My #bookrec for today is my own new novel, because it has an honest-to-god #bisexual #vampire, who gets a lot of screen time in this book. The first reviews are out and are favorable (thanks a lot, you guys 🫀). So if messed-up vampire books with a romance plot are your thing: Cassius.

I totally get that it hurts, and I think that is why the community is hesitant to turn our backs on the people we consider our own. (and because we still wrongly think there aren't that many of us). But we must do it. If they harm the community, they can no longer be a part of the community.

Honestly, we need to get away from the mindset that all queer people are good. Or even decent. There are some really horrible fucking queer people out there. Their queerness does not make them better than non-queer people. We need to leave that hope behind for our own good and survival.

This. And autum is the best time to do it anway. Also: I'm so tired of people saying they can't have a hobby, because hobbies are expensive. I can name at least five right now that don't requiere any money at all to get started.

Waiting it is then. You hope for the character to reveal his name at one point.

Oh, right. Slipped my mind. I still call it Twitter. If I think of it at all. Look for that baby name site then (any site really) and scroll down to X if you want an X name or pick a witchy one, it's the season after all. Pintrest might help with that. Or wait. It might just come to you. :)

This is an #FFM romance, it's cute and it's sexy, and if you haven't read a Katrina Jackson book yet, you should. Pink Slip is my favorite, btw.
