Four world titles to my name, but I feel like I just won a fifth with the success of Killing Floor. I've spent most of my career wrestling to prove a point, working that much harder to beat someone's ass out of spite and that's where I remain in leading UCI. Truly the best roster I could ask for.

Regardless of the outcome, I gave it my all. I am so proud of the match with @kingcoreyblack.bsky.social and at the end of the day, I made a point.

I faced my family, may have lost, but I gained much more. @uciefed.bsky.social has returned, and I'm so glad I was a part of it.

This is not "another one".
I am not a belt collector.

So long as this is around my waist, this is the most important accolade in the world. This is my pride, responsibility, and obsession.

Hey all! I know I've been silent for a while, and that's mostly because it's been really hard to make a living lately.

But here's the thing: I'm about to get off Facebook permanently, except for my business page.

I like that there’s more, but yeah. We’re essentially talking something like 400 a year if you get them all. I think it just being a few at first was too little, but you could honestly add a few more and go true monthly with a price drop to balance.

From the American POV, late stage capitalism is F’ing us in the A. I generally consider AEW to be fan friendly and good for the consumer, but the PPVs still feel like a bit much here in context of a country with a 7.25 minimum wage.

I mean, roughly twice as many people were watching weekly shows at viewership peak, something like 50% more at baseline. It’s a niche sport w/ a niche market, but there’s more fans to be had because they had them and can again.

You can have your cake and eat it too here. That's always been the case. Replays are universal to sport. I don't think AEW needs to be "fed lite", but there's notes to take on production. You can still do workrate wrestling and present it accessibly.

I don't think like a coffin drop off a high thing through some shit or a super murder driver onto steel steps warrants a replay and those spots never get it. That's specifically the type of spot I'm alluding to. It doesn't have to be everything, but like...at least a little bit of a "come on" thing.

I think those coming over would be doing so in a way where they'd gain an understanding of the vibe of the show/product. Don't worry. I'm sure there will be plenty of things like "Where's-your-hot-mom? *clap x5*" and seven nation army melody say gex joke chants in the future regardless lol.

I think a PPV priced PPV model is dated, personally. I'm happy they get good buys and they do generally make it worth it (I think out of all of them, there's maybe been 1-2 ever I thought were kinda rough), but I feel the infinite money man can make it work.

AEW has gotten better. WWE is getting worse. These things can continue in said directions or flip. I hope AEW keeps it up though. Fuck TKO.

Everytime you smirk and utter some iteration of "Just say you don't know real graps", you scare away the hoes. This is why Stokely can't get any smh.

I'll go further and say that instead of lashing out about "brand vs brand" narrativies, change the attitude and also be willing to be critical of AEW as a fan of it. We get that you like and connect with it. That's cool. We've held WWE to the flame for improvement, keep that same pressure with AEW.

I think a huge point for improvement is less with AEW itself, but the fanbase. As hypercritical as I can be, I am a day oner. I think the base can come across far too nose in the air and thick with wrestlesnobs quick to talk down on those who aren't on the AEW train. It's a turn off.

AEW also NEEDS more instant replays during matches, especially with a faster paced in ring style generally. The world around us is full of distractions. They do them once in a great while, not nearly enough. Easy fix, majorly beneficial tweak.

The PPVs coming down in price with MAX is cool, but it should come down more. WWE has rightful heat on them for a 20 dollar price hike for a lot of meh PPVs. While AEW does really go hard and put effort in theirs, 40 bucks is still steep. Be petty. Drop it to 25 and undercut your competition.

From what I read, the true full team sitdown is a newer strat and that Tony was doing more side/personal meetings with folks behind the scenes and that while he still does them, the formal show production meetings are new.

Now, a few things I think still need addressed/spots where AEW can and probably need to improve.
