The image shows two ewes with their lambs alongside the Ridgeway National Trail.
Plenty of activity out on the Trail today: huge bumblebees, butterflies, a patch of very early bluebells, a horse in a smart new coat and so many lambs. Please keep your dogs on a lead and under control when passing through their nursery fields.
Thank you!
Whatβs to spot along the Trail in March? Majestic trees awaking from their winter slumber, bouncing lambs, colourful cottages and tiny path-side flowers.

The word βhoarβ comes from old English and refers to the old age appearance of the frost: the way the ice crystals form makes it look like white hair or a beard.
