They hate Jews, they hate Catholics, they hate anybody who isn't a fundamentalist, so not surprisingly they hate all educated people, physicians and engineers included.

They see people whose ancestors came here in the 19th century as being intruders who need to be thrown out, and yet, at the same time, they see the Native Americans as also being intruders who need to be "sent back to where they came from" (that being Siberia).

The lunacy goes even further than that. Just drop by Gab, some time, and listen in. For God's sake, don't engage, just listen.

They don't just hate people of color. They also hate people who are of any descent other than so-called "founder stock."

Forests and fields are being replaced by farms and yards, to the point at which one can no longer find a place in the woods where one can't hear traffic noise. Also, developers keep chopping down trees inside of towns, for some mysterious reason.

In our area (near Chicago) and throughout much of Northern Illinois, that can be a problem.

There are physicians in my family. I grew up hearing horror stories. Kept me away from a lot of unwise choices as I came of age.
