This isn’t goodbye. We'll be back.

In the meantime, we want to give our utmost thanks to everyone who’s listened to us over the past seven years / 350 episodes.

We want to make the best show possible for you, and taking this little break is the very best way for us to do that.

Hopefully by then we’ll have had enough downtime to start releasing episodes again. What those will look like and how often they’ll be released, who can say?

Our Patreon supporters will be the first to know when we’re coming back (even those who are on the ‘free’ tier).

How temporary is this ‘temporary hiatus’, you may ask?

To be honest, we don’t know. As much time as it takes for us to come back fully rested and with enough creative juice to keep making good quality episodes.

At the very least things will be quiet until Spring 2026.

The added responsibilities of work, parenting and life in general mean that cranking out a brand-new escape room every week has become a sizable challenge on our time and our brains.

And, though the spirit is still willing, we need a little bit of breathing space before we all hit burnout.

We’ve made the difficult, but temporary, decision to take a hiatus from making episodes of The Infinite Escape Room podcast.

The reason is that all four of us are in different stages of life than when we started this podcast seven years ago.
