I am anti-organized religion but I have come to accept that not every person who subscribes to an organized religion is evil or stupid.

However, there are some people involved in these religions who use power to take advantage of others. Those people would be evil even if they didn't use religion.

The US Embassy in Riyadh seems to have taken a direct hit.

No idea on casualties, but it looks bad. Hope it was evacuated.

I don't know that a journalist's job is to "correct" the person they are interviewing. But they should ask pointed, probing, direct follow-up questions:
*Who told you that you were exonerated?
*Did they tell you why?
*Could you give us copies of any documents telling you that you were exonerated?
