happy new year 🎉i was going to make a resolution to actually properly use this account but i'm already 4 hours ready with the new years stuff LOL... i'll do my best though

Hello. This is the Winter Troupe’s Tsumugi Tsukioka. Happy New Year. I would like to thank everyone who watched our plays this past year.  Thank you so much for all your support. I hope you will continue watching our plays this year as well. A new year has begun. How did the past year treat you, everyone? As for myself, a lot of things happened, so this year felt somewhat long. But now that I look back, perhaps the year was shorter than I thought… That reminds me, we decorated the dorm before New Year’s. I put a small kagami mochi in the living room, but the orange was bigger and I had a hard time balancing it on top… The Autumn Troupe’s Sakyo-san was in charge of the shimenawa, and the Summer Troupe’s Kazunari-kun took pictures of the entire process; I’ll attach one here. I believe he had a bit of a hard time centering it on the door, so he had to adjust it numerous times.  That stubbornness is very typical of our Sakyo-san. Just now, both Sakyo-san and I were thinking of making our first visit to a shrine for New Year’s.  Everyone, stay warm and enjoy your New Year’s holidays. Sakuya: Look! The area around the dormitory is covered in snow! We can make as many big snowmen as we want! Masumi: I made a snow hut for you. I also warmed it up so you can come in and relax. Tsuzuru: I helped Sakuya make a snowman, but he might’ve turned too big ‘cause we worked on him together… Itaru: Everyone’s energetically playing outside even though it’s this cold… I’ll go back in once I’m done making this Sakuya snowman. Citron: I dragged out Itaru and Chikage who wouldn’t come outside! We’ll have family fun in the snow hut! Chikage: Making snowmen in the snow hut… It’s like we’re in a secret base, but we’re so loud that we’d be found out immediately.

Tenma: They’re blowing up the LIME chat… Well, it’s like we’re spending time together even though we’re not in the dorm, so it’s not so bad. Yuki: My LIME notifs have been going crazy since the new year started… Well, that’s the Summer Troupe for you. Muku: Kyu-chan sent a picture of his New Year’s Eve jump, and it made me start the new year with a smile. Misumi: Everyone’s been sending lots of messages! I’m gonna send the first triangle I found this year too~! Kazunari: Lots of happy new year messages are coming through! I’m super happy seeing my notifs bar all filled up! Kumon: I took a selfie while doing my New Year’s Eve jump, but it’s all blurry…! I wanna try again!

Banri: My fortune? I got great luck, obvs. And? What did you get, Director-chan? Juza: Omi-san said any small rice cakes we got left from the New Year’s will be turned into sweet red bean soup… Guess I’ll pray we have lots of leftovers. Taichi: They say that if you reveal your wish from your first shrine visit, it won’t come true! That’s why I’m not tellin’ you or anyone else, Teach! Omi: It sure is cold outside. Should I make some rice cake soup when we get back from our first shrine visit of the year to warm everyone up? Sakyo: It’s even colder than yesterday today. But that’ll make the amazake at the shrine feel even better. How ‘bout you have some too, Director-san? Azami: When I lived at my family home, Dad and I would do our first shrine visit of the year together. It’s like an annual event for? Ginsenkai.

Tsumugi: Us Winter Troupe are all doing our first calligraphy of the year together. It’s pretty hard when you don’t use a brush very often. Tasuku: I never know what to write when it’s time to do my first calligraphy of the year… The others are off in their own world and being no help at all. Hisoka: They told me to write my favorite words for my first calligraphy, so I wrote “Marshmallow”. It’s pretty much my favorite. Homare: I wrote a poem for my first calligraphy of the new year! Even when composed through calligraphy, my poems are simply sensational! Azuma: I couldn’t pick what to write, and Guy gave me a dictionary of idioms. Searching for something good to write can be fun too. Guy: Many four-character idioms are difficult to understand because we don’t use them in everyday conversations. I do hope the dictionary will be useful…

Itaru: Us same age folks will be having a drinking party at a slightly fancier izakaya tonight. The interior looks like something Tsumugi would like, so this is fine once in a while. A play I’m interested in is showing right now… We could go watch it together, if you want. Azami: Tsumugi-san’s entire presence seriously changes when he’s on stage. Tsumugi: I’ve received many flowers again this year. Celebrating my birthday while surrounded by flowers is such a blessing. Tasuku: There was a time when I was separated from Tsumugi, but… I’m sure we’ll be together from now on. Hisoka: I can smell lots of flowers today. It always smells like this on Tsumugi’s birthday. I have to celebrate him too. Homare: But of course, I have procured a bouquet of roses for Tsumugi-kun. Each and every blossom was handpicked by yours truly. They are all simply beautiful, are they not? Azuma: I plan on giving Tsumugi a flower bouquet. I don’t know a lot about them but… flowers just suit him so wonderfully. Guy: I often come across flowers I’ve never seen before when I’m with Tsukioka. I am curious to see what varieties he will show me next.

Omi: I tried making a cheesecake filled with marshmallows. I hope it’s to Hisoka-san’s liking. Sakyo: Mikage went out of his way to sleep on my lap for his birthday. Just what does he find so fun about this? He’s a weird guy, that’s for sure. Azami: Hisoka-san lets me try makeup on him sometimes, so I’ll overlook how much dessert he eats, just for today.

Tsumugi: I gave Hisoka-kun this cute cultivation kit I found. I figured he’d grow it with care. Tasuku: It’s not like I enjoy carrying Mikage around… It’s just, y'know… some kinda work out. Hisoka: Everyone’s so happy that I was born… My heart feels weirdly warm. Homare: I’ve prepared some special marshmallows and my favorite tea. Let us engage in a marvelous celebration. Azuma: Sleeping with Hisoka is like cuddling a hot water bottle. It’s perfect on cold days like today. Guy: Thanks to you, I was able to regain something important. I hope you will also get yours back, bit by bit.

I’m Azuma Yukishiro from the Winter Troupe. Little by little, the temperature is dropping and the cold days are increasing. As it’s that time of year when the seasons are changing. I imagine lots of people have been falling ill. Please stay warm and take care of your health. Some time ago, I took Kumon to Guy’s bar to sample drinks and food from the limited-time winter menu. Kumon didn't come to the bar all that often when he was still in high school. But now that he’s entered university and Juza has started drinking, it seems Kumon’s curiosity has been piqued. Guy had only asked Kumon to sample the food, but when he saw that the menu included a cocktail made using tea, his eyes lit up. He said that tea liquor was cool and sophisticated, so Guy brewed him a cup of the same tea used to make the cocktail. I’m Azuma Yukishiro from the Winter Troupe.
