How often do teams overhit or underhit the pitching that they face? I tried to visualize how often a team outperforms pitchers by more than or less than one run. See below:

This graph accounts for walks and strikeouts in a unique matter that is unaccounted for in statcast data. Feel free to ask why I selected the reason for the walk and strikeout WOBA values.
How does this compare to other's aging effects? With the speed decline, there has to be some age effect.

At the MLB Midseason mark, I tried to calculate a team's xWOBA relative to the pitcher's xWOBA that they faced. I called this metric the vxWOBA (Versus xWOBA). Here is each team's vxWOBA at the midseason mark in both raw vxWOBA and with it regressed into average runs expected per game.
