Thought I had my first bad tide under control until the water overflowed from somewhere unexpected and spilled into the colony. I spent so long tracing tunnels to find out where water could go to hurt me but I still missed a crucial one.

And just to make it even harder, the stupid hoomans left behind a bunch of unstable cores before they died out that detonate over time. Which can create new tunnel openings or servers bad water spilling into the colony. So the whole time you're fighting to mitigate the damage they'll cause.

The fresh water and bad water sources are almost all in underground tunnels with many different exists. Which one the water comes out of depends on water pressure. Plug one hole and it might come out somewhere else unexpected. Standard dam strategies don't work well.

Been playing Timberborn's Pressure map. I'm having a good time, but also this map is my nemesis. I didn't know it was possible to turn city builder terrain into a series of boss battles. I feel no shame save scumming this one as I discover what fresh hell I was unprepared for every consequence of.
