I don’t know if LeVar Burton got to see Wally Amos when he was in Hawaii for Amazing Comic Con. That would’ve been awesome to see them both together.

Some of you wonder “Who’s Wally Amos?” He’s the creator of Famous Amos 🍪. Before he got into 🍪, he was a talent agent for many legendary recording artists. After he sold Famous Amos (in a bad deal), he became a champion of children literacy & would often read to kids & made 🍪 for them.

LeVar Burton’s Reading Rainbow program not only got me interested in reading, it helped me with my learning disorders (or so what my K to 2nd grade teachers said) that I overcame quickly. I had the pleasure of thanking him in person and we talked about Bob Ross, Mr. Rodgers, and even Wally Amos.

I’m just trying to get a grasp of what’s causing the sudden surge of food allergies. Is it the lack of testing or more accurate testing, something in the environment or consumables, some sort of spontaneous genetic mutation in some people, or someone pretending to be allergic? I want to learn.

Not to sound like a dick, but I’m just blown away by the surge of certain food allergies. I’m serious. Before the 21st century, no one I knew had food allergies. Then at the turn of the century, half the people I knew all of a sudden had food allergies.
