Teddust: the Dune Bear pokemon. Teddust is the first stage of the grass starter line, and is a small sandy-colored bear with green fuzz on its back and head. It is a curious and affectionate pokemon that loves to play in the sand, and is suited for an outdoorsy and active trainer. Its shiny form is pink, like the blossoms of cherry trees.

The story of the sleeping bear sand dunes, and information about their history. The legends say that the dunes were formed when a mother bear and her cubs swam across lake Michigan in a desperate fight for survival. While the mother made it across, her cubs were not strong enough to make the journey. Two islands arose in their honor, and the mother bear never left the shore. She became a huge sand dune, which at one point in history really did look like a bear. Though the landscape has changed, the sleeping bear dunes are still a prominent landmark and tourist attraction, being 460 feet or 140 meters at its highest point. Climbing the dunes is a tough challenge, but a fun one.
