Today Turret presented at HRM’s Community Planning and Economic Development Standing Committee. Great news: the committee passed motion for staff to create a report outlining options for municipal support, including funding, towards our project! Felt heard & that HRM appreciates the urgent timeline!

‘Transgender’ and ‘queer’ erased from Stonewall Uprising national monument website | CNN The National Park Service has removed references to transgender and queer people on its web page for the Stonewall National Monument, which marks the site of the New York City inn where LGBTQ rioters – including now-legendary transgender activists – galvanized a movement for LGBTQ rights.

NYC, we know what to do. Immediately add these back and fuck whoever took them down. Trump should stay the fuck away from Stonewall. Period.
