T'was an experiment and I stick to use a real photo - it feels better to get all proportions and shadows right

thank you, I agree, values are important and lighting makes it interesting or dull.

And the reason why I colour often only the background came initially just from my fear of messing the whole drawing up if I try to colour skin "correctly". But I come to like it that way :D

First - great shot with an interesting photo.
Second - indeed hard to find a title. Perhaps "Diving into the dark" or " a crack in the surface"

And I still don't know exactly why. What makes the differences her compared to other similar works 🤔

No, that's not an error 😉. It's a tiny detail. Initially maybe not planned, but a good point for exchange.
And it doesn't make the image any less good - in the contrary, it makes it more interesting.
