But initially I didn't want to do a follow up to And Today, You. But doing so has been wonderful. And if you love WARSONG, Decipher's WARS, Doctor Who, or Chris Cwej.... well you're in for many delicious treats. I look forward to you reading them.

Equally, having the sort of deep crossover we've had with Cwej: The Series is also something I'd have never planned for or expected. But it's also worked. And it's brought WARSONG to a new audience, with Sang Mi and Chris about to have some amazing upcoming adventures.

It's weird, if we hadn't had the limitations and setbacks we had, I wouldn't have even considered making one of most popular series, Academy 27. As a spinoff from WARSONG / The WARS TCG, it's far from what you'd expect from that universe. But it worked. Sometimes limits are blessings in disguise.

With the "Vanishing of Jhe Sang Mi", I've now written 33 stories in the @warstcg.bsky.social WARSONG universe. It's strange, when I came in, I never thought I'd write the most stories or most words of anyone in my favorite sci-fi universe. It's a cool but strange milestone.

I think what I loved most about season 2 was the way it balanced its episodic roots with more long-form arc storytelling. It's a difficult mix to get right at the best of times, but this particular stable of writers pull it off with aplomb!
