Starting out the week with a toughie (for me).

We finally got some hopeful news about vaquita last fall, but now Mexico is considering re-introducing gillnets into their habitat. This would ensure eventual extinction, we can't let this happen.

Please share and send emails, letters, etc to Mexican representatives to stop this.

Right? It feels like a constant onslaught. But hopefully this, at least, can be stopped. Thank you for caring. ❤️

It's important for people to know that despite low numbers, the vaquita can still bounce back! Studies show they are resistant to genetic bottlenecking. We can't stop advocating for protections, it's not too late for them.

This news is heartbreaking, but if we make some noise maybe we can stop it.

Two new tables sitting in a small studio space ready for use! Brown drafting table on the left and black printer table in the closet alcove.

Finally found some tables that fit the new studio space! Very tempted to do a "Studio Setup: Part 2" stream on Monday to finish organizing my art supplies and to test out the printer/die cut machine situation.

Can't wait to get this space fully functional!

At least if I'm going to waste days messaging people about studio furniture only to get ignored, I get to see fun things I didn't know I wanted.

It really is desperate out here in Colorado with the housing situation.

In my never-ending search to find someone willing to respond to me on Facebook marketplace about tables for my new studio space, I have come across some wild posts. I will share them in the comments because they make me laugh and relieve my desire to bash my head against a wall.
