locking them in a room would be quite scary i think because they'd make each other worse in ways unimaginable. but anyways haine aphera appears nonetheless

teal is like if haine was a failed clone experiment given sentience from birth is probably how im thinking about it. and well. teal's au route is also haine but how i originally pictured him as waaay back which is scary

teal is similar but he never had the means to fight back, even if he has the will to. death may be an ultimatum for him. but he doesn't actually want to die. he values his life & wants to find a reason for his existence, but since he'll die soon anyway, its pointless in the end so he's doomer

haine only considers death as an outcome, a variable or something he can use. he's not truly afraid of it since he holds both his life & death in equal terms. his motive is ambition = Reason. he wants to prove something with(in) his life but he's also prepared to do so with his death

creation process has helped me with his foundation, as (intentionally) shaky as it is... they both have the desire to overcome their pre-determined "fate" and the ferocity to claim what is theirs, but haine has the means to while teal is ultimately helpless and unable to do anything

honestly the more i thought about him, the more i thought about his overlaps with haine and it made me question my creativity... they're both characters who thrive on their contrarian attitudes and individuality (what makes me "me?")
but having someone else to bounce off ideas with in the ++

it's not like i brought anything new to the table with him and he has a lot of recurring motifs / motivations that i have with past ocs. but thog doesn't car anymore about making ""unique"" ocs with no copy-paste traits because he is so self-indulgent for me

i hope eito can continue being a hater in all earnesty but his pure love/foundations that's kind of locked up and barely bubbles to the surface is quite beautiful to think about. the multifaceted complexities of eito aotsuki

it'd be denying himself and everything he's experienced thus far, even if it was fake (looking directly at CoA route and his actions during it...) because it's all he's known and it's all he can lean back on in the end.
It's a little tragic that he was made with love but grew up with hatred

the world he's only known was from books because his reality was too cruel for him. i think 2nd scenario is just... really ideal for him that he's Trying to learn to live with both emotions because he wants to understand despite everything. fixing him isn't the right option (nor ethical) because

not to woobify him Too much but eito, to me, is someone who is pure and naive... at his core he loves humanity and he loves the world, because that was how he was made, but he was unable to love the world before him.

since hatred has been a part of him all his life... something i enjoy saying is that with eito's "love" comes eito's hatred. hatred will always be at the center of his emotions and there's only very few cases he'd have such a pure love... but id argue that a love encompassing-hate +

hate is the only feeling he knows with Certainty since it's his foundation... something he can lean and rely on since he can associate it with anger, with vileness and repulsiveness, an ugly emotion. he knows what makes it and how it goes, but anything else is less tangible for him +

would've struggled with it. on one side im like i want to learn about eito and the inner workings of his mind and how he got here. On the other side i would not be able to take it if people use it as reason either 1. demonize him 2. woobify him further
