I'll admit it's a bit self-congratulatory, but I really do like pushing the limits of what stories I can tell when confined to a 4-minute EDM song and a shape game. Something about being at it for 6 years has wired my brain to look for ways to exploit songs in my favor for storytelling.

I have more levels like these in the works. I know not everyone will engage with my levels as art, in fact, only a handful of people probably will. And that's okay. As long as at least one person does (even if that's just me), I'll be happy, because it means what I'm doing is working.

...of Imposter Syndrome being entirely "level references" is a core element of the level's narrative? They are literally walking in circles, they are just echoing what they *know* how to do and even then it doesn't work out in the end.

Imposter Syndrome isn't exactly about imposter syndrome, it's more of a personal reflection on some thoughts I've had about Project Arrhythmia through the lens of Creator. Walking in circles. Simple work that's become too hard. Can they, quite literally, "make it"? What if I said that the choice...

Preacher is a meta-analysis of stories and being lost. Creator is telling DXL's story about being lost and without purpose because they're also lost and without purpose. Creator calls it a "parable" because they hope the player learns something. You want your audience to take something away.

I'll never shut up about the fact that I've put a lot of thought, detail, and personal narratives into a couple of levels I made in a shape dodging music game. Preacher and Imposter Syndrome are probably the best storytelling I've ever done, and they're largely built off of the songs.

Anyone who thinks Discord will scrap this is stupid. I'm sorry. Scrapping it is a death sentence for their IPO and will put them behind the game for all the laws being written up right now that'll force them to do it anyways.

But the specific way age assurance works (the verification methods, the compliance requirements) is being shaped by legislation already in effect in the UK and Australia, with Brazil quick to follow, and Europe and multiple US states close behind. By building this ourselves, we can show regulators that it's possible to verify age without collecting identity.

I'm not going to act like Discord is free of any wrongdoing, but why have the several laws forcing them to implement this never been a part of the discussion at all? The bigger picture could not have been more obvious.
