I've had a somewhat similar tragic gaming incident a few years back. I purchased Ride 4 (a motorcycle racing game, for context) on Xbox for about $35… the very next day, it went on sale for $5! I was not impressed. And since I had already played the game, it voided the refund on the digital copy.

I know this is satire, but for the people who may think it's real, that's just a sticker over the 'no smoking' sign switch. Being that smoking has been banned on planes for a long time now, it's pretty much useless and is now repurposed as a reminder for pilots if the cabin crew is seated or not.
