Complete a family emergency plan in case of detention (visit PIRC’s website). Take care to follow all traffic laws. Unfortunately, ICE sometimes uses minor violations to pull people over.

Sorry you’re dealing with this. The abandonment and isolation definitely sucks. You may already know this, but there are a few Covid-conscious community groups in Portland that you can find on Facebook. I know people have had success building relationships within these groups.
