I can only assume that kind of person spends so long surrounded by easily-flustered subs that they just forget how to interact with everyone else, or at least forget how to make approaches that aren't anything but blunt and tactless as all hell

like anything, it requires a certain level of confidence

I started using it for a character because I liked the sound of it, then adopted it more fully over time. Hearing someone (I believe @ceresultra.bsky.social, but I don't recall exactly) use it to refer to me in a Discord VC was when I knew I'd made the right choice. It just felt right.

If it's any consolation, I get it. People keep calling me cool too and I don't get it. :v
