Same could be said about tutorial dumping. Game chucks you straight into a situation with ton of enemies or action and then pauses the game every 5 seconds to teach you something new. You just parrot what the tutorial demands you to do, and after the whole thing you cant even remember half of it.

Yeah, IRC is pretty much text only. It does offer filesharing in P2P convos, but everything else need to be hosted elsewhere. But that's really one of its good sides, simplicity.

Decentralised and locally run is the only option. That is, private IRC servers. Sure they dont have all the fancy features, but they're also not actively feeding data into a corporation.

I really didn't need to build my system on AM5, as AM4 has plenty enough slot bandwidth for Arc B580. Its only Gen4.
AM5 pick was with the assumption that the socket would be still around when it comes time to upgrade.
At least got 32gb ram, so good as long nothing breaks. (Overkill on linux tho)

Yeah, what I figured was that EXPO is more of an older CPU thing, like AM4 socket. XMP seems kinda universally accepted now.

Original post was really more about how RAM prices just went absolutely nuts lately.

Realised when building my PC that I had accidentally bought XMP optimised RAM.

Just thought "ah well, guess I could get some EXPO RAM later on someday.
