Immigrant rights group calls for removing pregnant women from detention The American Civil Liberties Union is alleging that pregnant detainees being held in Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities in Louisiana and Georgia are being mistreated and receiving inadequate care.

Over the past five months we've met with more than a dozen pregnant people in ICE detention, some of whom have been detained and shackled without access to medical care.

We're calling for an immediate investigation.
