So for issue 1 we haven't set a theme but two of the journals central tenants are that we want to use science fiction to explore human potential and the divergence of human nature from the natural world. So stories that engage with these concepts will be front runners for issue 1!! #sci-fi-ireland

Sci-Fi-I Sunday Funday this weekend was a trip to @qssartstudios for some Dadaist shadow theatre and a look at some contemporary and modern art.

We're always on the hunt for inspiration and the framed surveillance equipment set off a few ideas for sure!!

Here there's a copy of Dune sitting in my unread pile, I'm keen as mustard to get a run at it at although it's an intimidating series of books!!! Ahh it's hard picking out of the five on the desk there but The Lathe of Heaven and The HitchHikers probably stand a little above the others for me!!!
