I sincerely hope Chainsawman just ends with Denji and Asa/Yoru fucking nasty for like 20 pages but the world is still shit and everything and nothing gets fixed

Yeah, it feels so much cleaner to read through compared to the first Amphoreus patch that had me feeling lost and uninterested already.
Mind you, it's still a long quest but it doesn't feel like it's overstaying its welcome because the mid portions actually have interesting stuff going on.

-New characters are fun and no one has wasted my time with a sob story yet
-Really cool setup of a Not!Grail War for the main arc conflict
-The planet actually feels like a real place
-The Furbobos are genuinely the cutest things ever and I'll protect their right to get overworked by me to death

Haven't finished the 4.0 quest yet but so far this already feels like such a huge improvement over everything from Amphoreus
-No time wasting with meaningless bloat
-Everyone speaks clearly like a real person now
-Properly introduces how the world works
-Really good utilization of existing cast

My hottest HSR take is that while powercreep is a thing, a lot of people get high on hype for new characters and ignore kit issues that their release environment attempts to hide, and the truth is a lot of those characters they claim to have been powercrept were actually just bad from the start

I know they wanna make money off of 5*s but it genuinely feels so bad to not have alternatives especially as new archetypes are released and locked completely behind pulling limited units before it starts functioning

Yes and it's genuinely perplexing to me lmao. The 4*s aren't even bad, literally all but one released in 2.X see usage to this day and even most launch ones I'd argue are good enough to fulfill the role a cheap unit is meant to do.

HP creep is definitely an issue but this fuckass dragon is an anomaly when the Kafka boss alongside it is going down way faster

I dealt 2 million damage to with Saber after I broke it and I saw only 15% of its HP bar go down

There's also a heal check so shields or giving up a healer for another support is not viable.

It's a really weird one because it's a damage check to Break it but it's an AS boss you only really deal damage once you actually Break it, and you can't really Break it naturally because it only gets weaknesses from Breaking the side parts that constantly get healed.

I really think this is the lamest boss in the game by far and I actually was falling asleep trying to optimize it, though most bosses aren't like this
