As well as dealing with family telling me I'm faking my disability & telling me that if I stood up for myself or spoke openly about how they were treating me I would be "burning a bridge forever".

I don't tell this story lightly, but I do tell it as it's important women, men, and families know they aren't monsters for choosing what's best for their child at the end of their life.

My sister Abigail had trisomy 18. Her birthday recently just passed. ๐ซโค๏ธ My sister was not going to survive outside of the womb. My parents were given CHOICES. Parents, families, and children all deserve dignity in life and in DEATH. (Continued in comments)
