That shift at work was about as much fun as chemotherapy.

Am rather glad I’m on the way home. Bloody exhausted with it all.

The arts are worthless, I see. Well, try watching telly, listening to the radio or to podcasts, wearing clothes, reading books, decorating your homes, dancing to music, driving a nice car or in fact doing anything fun, without the arts. Besides from animals, there would be no joy anywhere.

On my commute to work today there’s a little girl travelling with her mum. They’re both the spitting image of each other and it’s just so cute 🥰

This is my gf (Groupie)’s attitude too. She’s always being told she should take one of her passions and make it her job by people who should know better.

Addintionally, I was a good karaoke singer but you won’t hear me in the charts any time soon, because it’s a lot harder than people think!

Groupie said she felt “liberated and empowered” the first time she did it.

One problem with home nudism in this climate is the (even higher) energy bills it brings in.
However, Zaph & Groupie neither smoke nor drink, and with a supermarket just down the road open 06-24 there’s no need to spend money on takeaways either. So perhaps it all balances out…

Sometimes it just takes that one person to get things started. 👍

In some of the places Groupie temps at, they offer free fruit to the workforce and usually ordering this is one of her duties.
For reasons which would take too long to explain we refer to this as “the fantasy fruit league”

Last night, in preparation for an interview, Groupie had to scan her passport with her phone to prove she was legally allowed to work here. (As in, hold the passport to the back of the phone)
I’d never seen a phone do that before & I was entranced.

Technophobic as ever, she was much less impressed.

Groupie (my gf) is a temp and we often have to drill through Google Maps for public transit directions to places for interviews and placements etc.
Aberdeen is quite car-centric so I kind of expect this, but it would still be a help.
