The world could use a little more peace, so I decided to fly something a little special today at #BalloonFiesta. I call this tapestry the PeaceFlower.

He’s smart enough to know how to get as far as he’s gotten. He knows what appeals to his base, that’s what sounds so embarrassingly stupid; we don’t hear the private mobster conversations with the complicit powerful

He’s not stupid, he’s playing a role very effectively. And the people who are complicit know what they’re doing, and are frankly evil

It’s been a long time since I’ve made any tiedyes, and I’ve been having fun getting back into the art form! Here are a couple of fractal inspired tapestries that I’ve made and given to friends as backdrops for their bands. Cool!

Absolutely, 💯! Thanks for the perspective! I’ll be out there too, for the same reason. Watching meteor showers always makes feel so well protected by our wonderful atmosphere which manages to stop almost all of these space rocks hurtling at us at stupendous speeds. Indeed, science is powerful :)

I’ve re-read this fascinating and gripping article a couple of times over the years. And yet I still dream of moving to coastal British Columbia 🤷

In my mind I’m still up there, flying through this magnificent landscape. Flying fractals in the fractals. Intensely peaceful, magical, alive.

Had an absolutely wonderful weekend flying at Red Rocks outside Gallup. These sandstone canyons are incredibly beautiful, and you can get to some pretty amazing places by balloon that you just couldn’t reach any other way. Flying fractals in the fractals! #newmexicotrue
