@zurashii.bsky.social and I teamed up to design the ultimate mega metal cutie! Myra Killbot! She's from a series of combat drones that was too much of a loose cannon, so she was repurposed into service work (she's also really bad at it but still gets good reviews... somehow??).

We've been doing pixel art for LCD screens since 1989! Flatscreen style pixel art is no less "authentic" to the aesthetic, it's just a different evolutionary pathway.

The thing about how "pixel art was designed for CRTs" always kind of annoys me because: Pokemon wasn't. Pokemon was released on the Game Boy, which used a liquid crystal display. Nobody ever seems to think to bring this up. Drives me mad!!!
