I had a design chosen to be a part of this year's Secret 7' charity auction for War Child.

I chose the Jessie Ware song 'Beautiful People' and put together a design based on a decadent 1920s style champagne party.

My sleeve eventually sold for £50, hurrah!

hence getting to 2000, a nice round number, and stopping. sounds good to me.

one option would be to do a different language, which doesn't interest me, would rather go further with one language than try and learn little bits of multiple languages.

at the moment I'm just doing the maths course, and while I like the idea, it's far too basic for me so I learn nothing.

the plan is to keep learning German, just not via Duolingo.

I haven't actually done any German on Duolingo for ages anyway because once you get to the end of a course, there's not much to do (which is kind of fair enough I guess, you've finished the course!)

I've managed to do a 2000 day streak on Duolingo, which is pretty decent!

almost certainly binning it now though, I'm not learning anything and very much keeping my streak going for the sake of it, so what's the point? Duolingo being a bit crap with their AI stuff doesn't help either really.

Inspired by the magnolias I saw on a walk the other day, a couple of small designs I put together last week.

Experimenting a bit with the texture and blending modes to see how far I want to push it. I quite like how they turned out.
