While much of it was done on computer, most of the characters were hand drawn, and the backgrounds traditionally painted. #animation #handdrawn

Titan A.E. was released this day in 2000 from Fox Animation, directed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman. I was fortunate enough to get to work on it as a background painter (some of my work posted below). It was great to be a part of a movie people still enjoy!
