Mung bean cake! Mung bean chiffon with mung bean soy milk buttercream. All my past mung cake attempts were flops until this one. The nutty flavor is subtle but there. Mung beans forever! π

Tonka sandwich cookies! Tonka shortbreads with a salted white chocolate ganache. They are a sensory delightβ for flavor and scent think woodsy, vanilla, warming spices, slightly fruity, and they grate easily in a satisfying, fluffy way. Half a bean perfumed the whole kitchen.

Chocolate cake with burnt citrus caramel soy sauce buttercream, recipe adapted slightly from @allday.cake!
This was my first real bake in the new oven since our old one burst into flames at a comedically bad time. The "burnt"citrus part is a little homage to that old oven RIP.
