Is it weird to monitor a stick in the mud for four months? Perhaps. All of my ficus trees dropped their leaves in a passionate display of distress at moving in October. They weren't dead. Just fuming and petulant. Finally, we have new growth! Welcome back, loves! So nice to see you again! #gardening

The ZZ is a cutting that just won't die but also won't grow substantial roots??? π€£ The other four were little cutting babies moved up from 2" pots.

A ZZ plant that is still basically just a stick, but calloused over and unabashedly growing strong with its 1/8" tiny hairy roots. And a Neon Pothos baby. #gardening without a garden!

Sometimes, they accidentally show that they love each other. I try to get pictures of it for evidence when they annoy each other for no reason.

Potting up plant babies before a smooth as silk night at work is what I would call a great day. Ending it with a cuppa tea and snuggles with the cats. β€οΈ
